Here is another awesome red carpet secret to share with you before the Golden Globes, which air on Monday. For those of you who are sick and tired of ruining a perfect outfit with streaky and flaky white deodorant marks, stress no more!
Gal Pal Garment Deodorant Remover Pads, $11, are awesome little foam sponges that will swipe away traces of your anti-perspirant.
They are sold in a package of two and are reusable. This quick and easy purchase is a no-brainer. These pretty pink pads work like a charm and are super soft, so they won’t pill or damage your clothing like scrubbing will.
For gals on the go, there is now a Travel Gal Pal, $8, which is a single, double-sided deodorant remover pad.

If you are really in a bind and need a quick fix before they arrive, try gently rubbing your marked garment with a damp facecloth doused in Dove (the white kind) Soap. Rinse and repeat. This works well, but it will leave you with a wet mark until the area dries and is not recommended on silk.

Or instead of buying those pads, save the wire hangers from the dry cleaners that have the foam padding on them. The form works just the same.

1Great idea. At $11 these are a little bit pricey.
2Ooo, Moni B, that's a great idea, thanks!
3Why can't they made a deoderant/antiperspriant that works and doesn't streak!!??!!
Why does "invisible solid" sure leave nasty VISIBLE marks on my shirts!!!
I will have to try these ideas, but I wish it weren't an issue to begin with.
4Just use sheer pantyhose.
5Also in a pinch, rub the fabric against itself and that usually gets rid of it as well!
6I have these and lovelovelove them. I guess they are a bit expensive for what they are, but I've had and used them for about two years now, so I think they're worth the price.
7If you rub panty hose against the fabric it works also. My cheerleading coach in High School taught us that. I've been using it ever since..it always works on every type of fabric.
8I take a wash cloth wet it with cold water so, it's just damp, and whip it away.
9Oh, I have special wash clothes for just this purpose...they are a little bit rough.
10Nappie baby wipes work too.
