Dominatrices and Matrix fans will be drawn to this dramatic, patent leather black trench. This classic fabric and classic clothing item has been reinvented to create something very modern, if not, futuristic. I love patent leather on shoes and bags, but a big dose of it, like this Lanvin Patent Leather Trench Coat, $2,870, from their Spring 2007 runway, is not for the faint of heart. This McQ PVC Trench Coat, is on sale for $419 (originally $688). Though it's not black, this dark navy trench coat made of shiny PVC is less busy and less drastic than the Lanvin one. The coat is double breasted with three sets of black buttons and cinches at the waist with a 1.5 inch navy fabric belt. it is lined in a silky, quilted black viscose/cotton blend.

I do like the Lanvin Patent Leather version; but the PVC version; Wow...This is wrong on so many levels, lol. It looks like it belongs in the 99 cent store!
1I only like patent leather on my shoes. Otherwise it's too shiny.
2Oh noooooooooooo!! My mother bought me a patent leather coat when I was 13 and everyone made fun of me!! I can't bare the thought of seeing this stuff everywhere again! Ooooh and the SOUND it makes!!!!!!!! AHHH!!!
3When I was about 17 I had this lime green patent leather jacket. I wore it all the time! I don't have it anymore. It' my most favorite piece of clothing I've ever had. I'd love to find it again.
