As I told you back in November, Heidi Montag is going to Heidiwood. Although Lauren Conrad was always The Hills girl with fashion-designer aspirations, Heidi decided to bring her short stint at LA's Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising to fruition.
She's collaborating with retail chain Anchor Blue on a line of junior apparel and accessories set to debut by April 15. Striped dresses, color-rich tanks, tees, black shorts, white-denim tops, bags, and jewelry are all in the works, priced from $10 to $60.
The partnership will continue for two more collections, and the Fall Heidiwood line is anticipated to involve sweaters and jackets in darker, autumnal colors. Heidi will also be featured in the Anchor Blue ad campaign beginning April 1. Joy. I wonder how it will compare with Lauren's collection?

2I'd buy Heidi's collection before I'd touch anything from Lauren's. The Lauren Conrad Collection is boring and completely unimaginative with a ridiculous price point. At least Heidi's clothes come with a reasonable price tag!

7I think she's moved past breast and nose jobs, and added lip fillers to the list... Ught - oh! I do think it's smart, though, that she's making her clothes more affordable than Lauren's -considering the average age of a Hills fan, (I'm assuming it's on the young side.)

this seems less ambitous and kind of pulling on her name to push things. nothing will be that cute, and cheaply made. at least lc's stuff looks like it's pretty decently made.

Lauren makes elegant things, for serious, rich, working women, who know something about fashion. It is a bit boring, because working women can't take big fashion risks.

Granted, some of her actions were deemed "shady" but how much of it was editing and not reality? I am sure we have all had moments where we weren't the nicest of people and did or said shady things ourselves...And as always, there is two sides to every story...
Now, onto the clothes..Let's give her credit for launching a line that is affordable. I am sure the quality will be like that of "Forever 21" and "H&M" which last a fews months. If you are looking for fun clothing without breaking the bank, then here is another option. No one is forcing you to buy it so if you don't like it, don't look at it...
