Denim is a tricky fabric to work with, especially when it's used on dresses. This 7 For All Mankind One Shoulder Denim Mini Dress ($172) would be lovely in another fabric, but the denim makes it seem outdated and stiff. Nice try 7 For All Mankind, but I'll stick to just wearing your jeans. What are your thoughts?

I think it's adorable and would be a cute party dress for early spring.
1I agree that heavy weight denim would be unsuitable ...but denim comes in many weights other than the tradtional 16 oz etc....I have a denim dress made out of "chambray" denim and its very soft and comfortable ...wear it summer long...in fact the more you wash it the softer and more comfortable it becomes.
This dress might also work in a stretch demin for movement. I love any kind of denim clothing...gets better with age!
Ciao Bella
2I agree stacey cakes!
sexy little number for spring!
Ciao Bella!
3I guess it would depend on the type of denim. If it's stretchy and light then I think it works, but if it's stiff then I'm not feeling it. The cut and design is quite cute though!
4not my style but it's cute.
5Cute but it's also not my style.
6I don't particularly like the Tarzan/Jane look.
I do have a dress like this, but, I wore it about ten years ago.
7i like it - i'd wear it i think. i'd have to try it on.
8Yuck. Hate the denim.
9I think if you played it up the right way you could really make this dress look awesome! It has TONS of potential!
10I really like the cut but I don't really like denim clothes, they give me 80s flashbacks with all the denim shirts etc *shivers*
To me denim is for pants and the occasional jacket.
11I would have liked it better, made in jersey.
12Not my style
13it looks heavy.
14It's ok, but not for me.
15The heavy long sleeve seems quite disproportionate with the short length of the dress. I imagine it is especially so because of the denim.
16I like denim dresses...but this one isnt for me.
17I agree with who said the sleeve was heavy for the overall proportion. Perhaps a elbow length one would look better. Otherwise I think its cute.
18i think it's cute, but it does look a bit stiff.
also: is anyone else freaked out by how skinny the model's legs are? they're almost as thin as her arms!
19I don't like the one-shoulder look in general, but there is something appealing and cute and fresh about an "LBD" type dress in denim. I think it's because of the Project Runway Levi's challenge. I'm betting denim dresses will be all the fashion this spring. (And yes, I was also freaked out by the skinny legs!)
20hm, not for me.
21I love it, but I probably wouldn't buy it...
22love it, wish i had the legs to wear it!
23I kinda don't like that it's denim.
24its nice but i am not a fan of denim in dress form
25ew, No, Thanks.
26Not too cute.
27very cute. i would totally wear it, but definitely in another fabric.
28this looks cute on this model. but really, on anyone else? and what about wrinkling? or when you sit down, all the crunchy blousiness? v. unflattering
29It's a little like a bag, but if paired with some colorful flats and a skinny belt, I'd be all about it
