This new Cover Girl Lash Exact Mascara, $6.89, is so awesome it is being modeled by the bold and beautiful Queen Latifah. This mascara has also been featured in this month's Lucky Magazine. It is revolutionary because it claims to be both clump and glob free!
It is formulated with thickening polymers to add thickness, and the new Lash Exact brush is made from smooth plastic bristles with extra spokes to hit each lash. This mascara keeps all of the bristles perfectly aligned so you can achieve that healthy and freshly separated lashes look everyone strives for.

Now you can get a free Lash Exact Mascara, by trading in one of your old drug store brand mascaras to Cover Girl. How awesome!
The mascara is available in very black, black, brown and brown/black and also comes in a waterproof version as well.

I dont think this mascara is that new.
But I like the whole trading it in. I have tried it. Its ok. I tend to like more volume then length- but they now have a volume exact mascara also so I need to try that soon
1I LOVE mascara, and now I can get it for free?!? I'm in heaven! I love the purple bristles on the wand.
2This mascara is a good, inexpensive option for day wear. It makes lashes appear much thicker and longer, yet does not appear too "done." It is perfect for class or the office. I prefer more drama for night though. =)
3I agree with azucar_maddy - it's great for everyday wear.
I have pretty long lashes to begin with, but they're blond so they're basically invisible without mascara. I've been using this mascara for the past few months and I like it because I don't have to use a lash comb before or after I apply it - no clumps! I'm away at school right now and I left my lash comb at home because I don't need it.
I do wish it would make my lashes a bit thicker, though. Sometimes when I'm going for a more dramatic eye I feel like it's not enough.
4I have been WAITING for my free one in the mail!!!!!!!!!
I sent them my almost empty Lancome Hypnose
just like they asked and nada...
5Maybe because they said "DRUGSTORE BRAND" Jennifer76?
6That's what I just read up top here, anyway. Perhaps it said otherwise on the CG site? ***shrugging***
Anyway----it's nice to see something featured here that we can actually afford. I will def try this! Thanks, FabSugar!
i dont like covergirl..
7luv this mascara..
8Poke - The ad I pulled out of Vogue (I think?) said department store brand.
Weird.
Maybe they changed the promo.
9Oh, actually I clicked through to Fab's link to Cover Girl and it does say department store. They want department store brand trade ins.
10Okay----cool! I was kinda confused there!
11Regardless, I bought some today and will give it a test drive tomorrow. I have a good friend from Nova Scotia who does Proctor & Gamble product displays around different stores up there and she says that peeps are raving about this stuff and it's selling like crazy!
That's what I've heard! And I HATE the Clinique one I'm using right now. I can't wait for this to get here in the mail!! I keep almost buying it, then going NO WAIT. FREEBIE!
12Put your patience panties on, girlfriend.
13*giggle!*
It's not new - I've been using it about 6 months and it's great. After a few tubes of the lash exact as pictured (I switch tubes at least every 2 months), I saw they new have one called "Volume Exact" which has the same fabulous brush, no clumping either but intended to give more volume. I use that one now - I don't know if it gives dramatically more volume, but I like it a lot. I have never used a good CG mascara in the past, but this one is fabulous.
