Just like I hinted, Old Navy is getting a fresh, youthful makeover this Spring. Already in stores are safari-themed shirt dresses, jackets, and jumpsuits in rich, earthy tones with animal print mixed in — all still at friendly Old Navy prices.
Then, in March, breezy Palm Beach-inspired dresses in bold green prints, lots of white, and even a little seersucker suiting. If this is an attempt to catch up with the Zaras and the H&Ms of the world, I say bring it on, Old Navy!

Their new stuff is suprisingly cute. I bought a wrap dress, wrap shirt, and zebra striped sweater there 2 weeks back.
1They're going to have to try harder if they want to catch up to H&M. I like a few of the things I've seen so far, but I'm just not that impressed. I cry that we don't have an H&M in Florida.
2Cute.
I checked out some stuff last week and I was "meh" about it.
That clutch they show above is MASSIVE and awkward to carry around but super cute-minus the size.
Some of the dresses didn't look AS great in person.
3the stores in san francisco are great; old navy is definitely on the ups! look forward to their latest collection
4wow, some of them are really cute! i like!
5I went there a few days ago and apent around $150 in there. CUTE stuff. and I wish there was an H&M here in FL too!
6*spent
7omg. has anyone ever noticed that the clothes from old navy are completely crap! i wash them once and they end up with spots or fall apart. I think the things are cute but you get what you pay for i guess
8I haven't checked out anything from ON in awhile, but this season's stuff looks surprisingly cute.
9i like the urban explorer looks, but they aren't really my style.
i am SO excited about the palm beach stuff though =)
10Im diggin the Urban Explorer looks
11I actually went to the store yesterday after seeing pieces online. Not impressed. The fabrics are garbage. The upside seems to be the shoes that are coming out of this "transformation"...
12I've already bought a few of those pieces! The cranberry-colored shirtdress (which looks SO cute on), the khaki front-pocket pencil skirt, and a cute giraffe-print top. I also bought an amazing buttery-soft leather handbag in the prettiest shade of pale yellow (for only $50!) and a couple of great skinny scarves.
Their look really HAS improved. And the prices are still unbeatable.
I love that little giraffe-print slipdress...I didn't see that at my Old Navy! I'm going to have to look online, I love it!
13I'm enjoying their transformation. I've always liked their clothes, but especially now. Their prices are great, too.
14can't wait. i love old navy for affordable basics, and now i like how there are more cute options.
15It's crazy how much they're emulating J.Crew these days..minus the quality of course. I like the wrap dress in the first collection.
16I never buy clothes from Old Navy - not even for the kids really! But, I was blown away by an ad campaign I saw in In Style today. Lovely stuff! I just may check it out!
17yayy i'm going to old navy!
18I'm liking it
19seem more chic
and grow up...
can wait to go
to Old Navy
i've seen thebags and clothes at old navy i have to agree they're stepping up their game!! i love the leather bag
20good for old navy. gotta love these dresses for spring...they are cute and disposable with the season change...
21Old Navy is great, totally fun and affordable. I buy a lot of my six-year old daughter's clothing there. I love how every time they're mentioned someone feels the need to tell us all about how the quality is low. Well... duh. lol
22the quality of their fabrics are crap. and the stitching . . .i mean, you would expect more from a vertical manufacturer like Old Navy.
i think Old Navy is getting a little big for their britches in the price department. it's like, "get over yourselves".
they have to up the styling in Old Navy because Gap's sales are in the gutter.
i know when i'm getting screwed over!
besides, why shop at Old Navy, when everybody and their fat-pack granny shops there. you can spot an Old Navy garment from a mile away. . .and then you turn and see some other chick wearing it.
23eh, cute, but kind of boring and predictable
24The stuff in the stores look great on pictures but when i went to check it out for myself, they just didn't live up to it. Maybe they should have a pricier line like H&M Pink Collection. Better materials would definitely make those designs work.
25The pictures for March's collection look worse than the early Spring ones!
26Where have you seen pictures of the March collection, Elainef?
