Witnessing the Oscars red carpet [0] is one of my favorite fashion moments all year. We'll have to wait until Sunday to see who wears what, but until then, I've got a sneak peek to hold you over. Oscar fashion coordinator Patty Fox put together [1] an Academy Awards fashion preview, highlighting the vivid colors and sparkling jewels that are expected to rule the red carpet this year.
Partnering with glam Oscar-worthy designers like Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab, and Marchesa, Fox showcased gowns that spoke to the style of past Academy Awards winners: for Charlize Theron, a ruched tangerine Pamella Roland number, for Julia Roberts, a one-shouldered red chiffon Valentino gown, and for Renee Zellweger, a gold strapless Angel Sanchez dress.
