Katie Holmes (and Tom Cruise) supported their friends at the First Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon. Yet again, Katie put her best foot forward in purple peep-toe Loubs and an Alexander McQueen dress, sans belt. I think the actress just solidified the purple-accessory craze in Hollywood!

39I find this outfit boring. Matching clutch and shoes is so predictable. I think the dress would have been more interesting if she kept the belt on.
If she matched her lipstick with her clutch that would have been more sophisticated. Deep red lipstick with a deep red clutch would have been nice. Also, it would have drawn attention to her pretty face. JMHO.
40agree with GlowingMoon!why loose the belt?it helps the pattern not looking too dizzy and makes the folding in front stand out and kills the BOREDOM.
