Stefano Pilati is making sure the house of YSL is being seen and heard. His first stage was Kate Moss in his Spring campaign — a winner. Then, at the beginning of the Fall European shows the campaign was distributed to passerby in London and Milan; on Sunday it was handed out in Tokyo. Tomorrow Kate in YSL will make their way through New York and Paris. The last distribution point for YSL's Manifesto is Hong Kong on April 19. Over one million copies are planned to be sprinkled over these fashion capitals. As well, Pilati showcased a traveling public installation featuring life-size images of Kate. The new YSL boutique just opened in Paris and Thursday is the unveiling of the house's Fall show. Talk about mastermind planning!
This video is a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the campaign. It's cool to see Kate vogueing against the store window in the dark, while flashes flicker, but the music is seriously lacking. Stefano should have consulted FABTV for more upbeat tunes to accompany Kate in action. The shot of the lone star cuff is probably my favorite part — but you can see if for yourself.

2I was bored before it even finished.
3love Kate.
4I also think that the video is trying too hard to be artsy but I see nothing wrong with the music.
5I don't know what you mean by this... are they handing out flyers for YSL??
6what is being handed out?? too much hype over all these promo stunts....
7the music in the video is so boring and creepy.

I don't like Cate but I like some of the clothes.
10As far as I can tell they are handing out copies of the Spring ad campaign — I haven't gotten my hands on one so I don't specifically know.

11Love Kate, but that music sucks.
