I love her dress. Her lips are way to dark. Also her eyebrows should be lightened a little- too dark for her hair color

The dress is okay, but perhaps her hair should have been swept up and paired with a more elegant necklace to really add life to look, as the dark red lips simply aren't doing it for me.

Oh, Kate. Sometimes I truly despair your love of red lipstick.

I love her and the dress is stunning on her - but really the eyebrows -- yikes!! and she is much too old for red lips. all in all - still love it though.

It's a little to boring for me kinda like Drew's. But i can't say i hate it cause she's so beautiful.

I love the understated class, but I think Kate really needs to change up her stylist. The red lips and romantic curls were a perfect look for the twenty-something hottie, but she needs a look for the thirty-something beauty she's becoming!

On this one, though, I voted "Love it!" There's nothing wrong here, even while I don't think I pick out anything particularly right, either.

I like the dress, boring is better than looking like a train wreck. The lipstick is WAY too dark, though. Ages her. Eyebrows are way dark as well. Think they put darkening powder on them? yeesh.

i love the makeup (and the lipstick!) and the hair ... and the jewelry is perfect. my issue is where the top of the dress hits. i've breast-fed two children myself, and i'm looking at her thinking, "SUPPORT! get this woman some support!" her breasts look like they're just pulling the dress down. i love the fact that she doesn't have fake boobs that float up around her neck like other starlets, but give the girls a boost, kate!

She looks great except for the too-dark lipstick. Her eyebrows don't actually bother me, but maybe it's because I just can't get past the lipstick.

While this doesn't exactly qualify as a "What was she thinking?" moment, I think Kate should get the number of Cate Blanchett's stylist. Cate is usually right on the mark when it comes to the red carpet.

On another note, I thought Kate was excellent in "Little Children." It's too bad she had such stiff competition in the form of Helen Mirren.

I love that dress, the color is great on her, and her hair color is great, too. I agree that her lip color is a bit dark, almost goth dark. Definitely needs a foundation garment, the dress looks like it's squishing her chest, and she has a lovely figure.

The lipstick is awful!

That was the Salma Hayek/ Drew Barrymore dress that went right. Perfect on her. She looks comfortable and very glam in it.

Undecided on this one. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. The lippy was definitely too dark.

I'm with the group that thinks she usually looks better. The dress doesn't work on her, the red lipstick has to go, and I'm not sure what's going on with her eyebrows.

Eyebrows and lips--too dark. Don't like the center part with long hair, either. The light dress makes her look hippy.

In regards to my earlier comment....apparently Cate Blanchett's stylist had the night off! I just saw her dress (and her hair!?!) and I can't believe she went out like that! So Kate definitely looked better than Cate tonight

Kate looks wonderful in the shape of this dress, but I think it was in the wrong shade for her skin tone. Either go more pink or more white. This pale pink isn't right for her.

Kate looks absolutely breath-taking. Love the curves, love the dress, love the risky red lipstick. She can do no wrong.

The dress is fine for me, but was lost in the sea of white dresses. And the make-up/hair/eye brows - something just was not working there, which kills me because usually she is so gorgeous.
