Kate Moss made Hunter wellies famous a couple of years ago when she slogged around the mud at Glastonbury in a black pair.
Now, those same boots have been reincarnated in the form of these Hunter Silver Wellington Boot ($125), with a shinier, brighter finish. Would wearing these make you feel shiny and bright on a rainy day?

1I feel that with wellies you can go be pretty obnoxious with colors or patterns (I have Target wellies with a citrus print) and these are pretty tame, IMHO and could be rather chic.

7I just got a pair of Hunter Wellies (black) recently and I love them! They have been a life saver in all the sleet, rain, snow, and muck. Given that, I would be willing to branch out and try silver...why not when I'm mostly wearing dreary dark colors anyway?

15Wellies are the one 'fashion' thing with which I'm firmly on the practical side. I appreciate these because at least they're Hunters. But otherwise, standard black or green is the way to go.

24I think they could be cute if they were in different colors, and without all those unnecessary and tacky designs like the fake buckle on top and way-too-upturned toe. I think plain, navy blue ones might actually be cute!
25The price is reasonable, but there is something about those boots that look really wrong...Maybe they're too industrial? Very unapproachable.
