Modeling in a room of meat is odd, but wearing meat is freaky. On Wednesday's episode of America's Next Top Model, the remaining contestants were taken to the Meatpacking District in New York, where they had to not only wear raw meat, but they had to make it look as normal as modeling diamonds. Claire (pictured) and Marvita made the challenge look effortless, but I still think it's more freaky than fabulous. You?

13It's just ridiculous. ANTM tries so hard to be outrageous that they just lose the point. None of the models look good because they are styled like crap and there is too much going on in the photo. It's not like they are getting David La Chappelle to shoot these things.

17Exactly Ashlyn Rose! This show is getting desperate and has run out of ideas so they come up with "crazy" ones that in my opinion are not freaky but stupid. I watch the show on a regular basis but I wish someone would tell Tyra what a b*tch she is. Who was the cute blonde that left? She should have told off all the nut job judges minus Paulina before she left.
18It was gross. As much as they want to talk about "high fashion" I didn't think this photo shoot was. I was surprised that there were no complaints about vegetarianism. I wondered if any of them were.

i caught this episode this week...and it's one of the first times I've actually sat down to watch the new cycle, and I must say that I do NOT like any of these new models! I usually have a couple favorites and one that I really hope wins...but I didn't find any of the girls interesting and they all for the most part looked VERY AVERAGE. NO super special features and pretty boring hair, but mostly, BORING PERSONALITIES. I'm kind of dissapointed in the selection =/
I don't see more than maybe...2 that seem like they really want to be there...the others are just so "eh.."
I hope the eps improve or they do another makeover or something =/ Past cycles have been fabulous! What happened to this one?

35I thought it was ok. But not spectacular. I think that they should have went all out with the theme instead of partial because the concept is kind of "gory" they should have gone to that extreem not just somewhere between slaughtering and going out to lunch with friends. I think its kind of off when its like they didn't really commit to a certain look or feeling and thats what makes it sort of confusing.

i'm vegan, but i really don't care if others eat meat. that's their choice. however this is both disrespectful of life & wasteful. i thought tyra went "green" last season?
if they wanted to gross the models out, they could just have them pose w/ smelly trash or sewage. this isn't the first time this show has crossed the lines of taste. i was appalled by the one where they were dead. when that show came on, i had had a friend die in a violent way & it made me sick. then, the worst one was the circus "freaks". it made me seriously angry b/c it sort of poked fun at real deformities. i mean, you know, elephant man was a real man. he was a good man who went through allot. & in case we forgot, there are conjoined twins born all the time. it's not chic, it's sad, & it's certainly NOT fashion.
bella, i think you should forward this post & all of our responses to tyra. she seems like a cool woman. maybe she'd change her mind or get jay to stop w/ the nasty shoots.

That being said, ANTM is quite ridiculous. I haven't bothered to check it out in several seasons. You would think that by now any girl serious about modeling wouldn't go on this show. Of course, these girls may be serious about being famous, not modeling.
