I've been on the hunt for a cute monokini for Summer. I was psyched when I came across this American Apparel Nylon Tricot Cut-Out Swimsuit ($20, originally $38). Right now, a plethora of swimsuits and other great basics at American Apparel are offered at a deep discount. Act fast Fabbies!

I kind of like the style.
1I've only been to American Apparel once, last time I was in Key West. I wasn't really that impressed.
2is it just me or does this suit make this girl look squat and wide? And I know she's not - but the proportions are off. It draws your eyes to her tummy - which is the last place I want my bathing suit to draw eyes to.
3I agree it doesn't flatter the model so much, but I love the suit itself! I want! Time to go shopping online...instead of work.

greentea! I love doing that too. The best is when you finish buying something from
barneys.com it says at the end "Now go back to work!"
5If it doesnt even look good on the model then chances are its not gonna look good on me. A lot of stuff at AA just isnt flattering in my opinion.
6syako, that's so funny! I definitely need that reminder to go back to work!
7Looks awful on the model... DEF going to look awful on me.
8i love american apparel, but this suit doesnt do it for me. if it had a halter it might work.
9yeah,only if it comes in halter!
