3Thats obscenely expensive, and insane. You could so easily waste the $1300 and ruin it accidentally. Its so dumb when designers try and tap into the diy market; its such an oxymoronic concept. People DIY clothes and accessories, because they cant afford/dont want to buy the designer stuff!

5I saw this in Fendi a few weeks ago. It's pretty cool. I am just not sure how many of us are secure enough with our arty abilities to not ruin the bag. Those are some pretty nice markers too. I love that the print on the inside of the box, those doodles, is the lining of the other colorful baguettes in the collection. I just don't know what I would draw on it.

11This could be a great opportunity for an "up and coming" designer to make a name for him or herself. Get orders from celebs, rock stars, etc, and make them a personallized Fendi bag. I wouldn't be surprized if we see a few celebs with specially designed Fendi DIY bags.

18I Bookmarked this item ages ago. Recently I got a obnoxious comment from someone complaining about this bag but actually took it out on another Fendi Bag that is water colored leather. Anyways while it might be expensive this is a collectors bag made by an artist. What most of you need to remember is that Luxury is not a necessity. It's a want. I don't find this any more absurd than a parent buying a 800.00 stroller or a Doll Collector paying 1,000 for a limited edition Barbie.
