Why couldn't Katie Holmes have had lunch at Joan's on Third when I was there during LA Fashion Week?! Oh well. The actress took a break from gowns and opted for a more down-to-earth look for the afternoon. Still, she gave her yellow trench coat and black skinny jeans a kick of fancy via the strappy heels. Armani has its place, but I like the laid-back Katie!

20love the coat...and yes, tall women have big feet (i wear size 10). People would say she looks odd balancing on size 5s. However, it is a personal pet peeve of mine when I see people with their toes hanging over the edge of their shoes. If it doesn't fit, get a size bigger. if you're at the biggest, then those shoes aren't for you!!!!
21I heart Katie in every way. What kind of restaurant is Joans? Im curious on everything Katie. Lots of fashion designers and critcs love Katie more than Posh and other actresses. Bravo to them.
