Put on your pearls girls! I know the majority of you prefer diamonds but pearls — long and lean ones — are experiencing a rebirth. My motto is anything that SJP wears, grants trend status; however, I don't think pearls can be considered trendy. They are classic! From Coco herself, to the sidewalks of Hollywood on Ashlee Simpson to the woman who embodies Carrie Bradshaw, a long strand of pearls, or two, or three, is new again.

13Don't like long pearls unless there are chokers or shorter strands thrown in for balance, in which case they can be lovely. The middle lady above is the only one I find intriguing... those other two look like they're trying too hard to be an image or a collection of trends, whereas the middle lady just looks like herself.
14Pearls are always chic and classy! I'd go for pearls over diamonds any day. Diamonds can get tacky, pearls are lustrous and gorgeous and perfect for any outfit! I like to wear either a very long strand, or a simple graduated short necklace. I wear a fabulous size 9 pearl pendant drop every day, it's effortless and perfect!

17I wear a pearl necklace and matching pearl drop earrings every day, they are very simple and work with every outfit from jeans and a tee to a classic LBD. Gotta love pearls
