The newest crop of Gap Design Editions are going to be in stores before we know it: April 15 is only a few weeks away! For this round, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and Threeasfour all riffed on the classic white button-down ($78-$88), and Philip Crangi whipped up black and white resin cuffs ($45). I still wear the Rodarte Design Edition top I picked up last year; it's definitely not your typical white shirt. But I have to ask: Should the GAP be enlisting these designers to take on a different wardrobe staple? I would have loved to see what this group could do with a more affordable LBD. Nonetheless, for those who missed the Design Editions the first time around, get ready to pounce!

3i like the dress too- i wonder how they actually fit though. i haven't been to the gap in years.
4i have 3 of the white shirts from last year (thakoon shirt, thakoon shirt dress and a doo ri shirt) all of them fit well. i think last years shapes were more voluminous so downsizing would have been ideal. these look like they hang on the body better since nothing has too poof out if that makes sense. can't wait until april 15th!
5i bought last years drop waist dress..not sure who was the designer of that one..but it is the cutest thing..love it
6Um, did I miss something here? These designers were supposed to put their own spin on the classic white button up, right? Except for Philip Lim, I don't see anything unique about any of these shirts! Yikes, if that is as creative as they got, I don't see the point. Color me dissapointed.
7are the bottoms for sale, as well?
8Except for the second dress on the left, I don't see anything here that really does much for me. Of course it's a white button-down shirt, but surely some of these super talented designers could have come up with something a bit more entertaining than this? I suppose I'll check the website or the store tomorrow to see what they have, but the Gap has been so dodgy I don't go in much.
