For my entire makeup-wearing life, I have been searching for the perfect mascara. I don't think my requirements are any different than anyone else's. I want something that is easy to apply, provides some lengthening and most importantly, won't bleed down underneath my eyes and leave dark circles.
I started out as many teenage girls do, with Clinique's Naturally Glossy, then moved to Lancome's Defincils, then to Bobbi Brown's Everything Mascara and then even to Maybelline's Great Lash. These were all fine and most people rave about them, but I was never 100% satisfied.
Currently I am using Benefit's BADgal Lash and I must say that it might just be my favorite so far. I will keep you posted.

I'd love to know if you have found the perfect mascara and if so, please share!

I think the maybelline lash stylist works amazing! The wand is actually a comb that separates the lashes without leaving clumps behind, and the first application is as good as the last. You can find it at any drug store for less than $8 bucks ♥
1Maybelline is the original mascara and IMO, the best. My current fav is Maybelline Maxfactor.
2I recently started using Benefit Bad Gal as well and I love it! Another good one is Cover Girl Lash Exact.
3Benefit Bad Gal is also my mascara of choice. I like the look of dramatic lashes and this does the job.
4Looks like I'm going to have to get some Bad Gal. I'm a mascara-lover and funnily enough have yet to try it!
5Yes I wear benefit Badgal -- thanks to JennaV
It has a much bigger wand than other mascaras -- is that what it is called? I don't know...the end of it, the tip...you get the point. hahaha that is funny ok I am lame I know
6Yay Lisa! You are a Benefit Girl now, hon!
7Sounds like I'm going to have to give hte BadGal a try. I feel like I have tried just about everything, and spent years with Lancome. Lately I've been using the L'Oreal Double Extend, which has the base coat and the mascara. It's really been working well for me, but I'm always up for trying something new!
8I wear contacts and sometimes my eyes water like a river and I need a really good water proof mascara. I LOVE Maybelline's waterproof mascara because it even stays on when I go to the pool and doesn't get clumpy like some other waterproof ones do. I haven't tried Badgal yet..is it waterproof?
9It is NOT waterproof lacoste...but just try it. I bet you will love it.
10I have pretty long lashes already, so just need some definition and thickening.
I picked up a tube of that funky cheapo like, "NYC" in a drugstore somewhere in an "emergency", and it turned out to be an incredible find.
It's the silvery tube; the brown-black color is VERY good.
11I bought the mascara from FRESH it works really well, you can manage how much you wear by layering, and it does not get clumpy.
12i use este lauder and i like it
13i use este lauder and i like it
14I`m currently using the maybelline lash stylist mascara.. but it doesn`t work well at all (for me, atleast). it gets sorta clumpy-ish.
15I LOVE Bad Gal!!! My lashes are a bit long, but not full at all. Bad Gal really makes them pop! Dior's Catwalk is a close second!
16Uh, I didn't think my first comment posted for some reason and now I've got a duplicate. But just incase you couldn't tell I love Benefit's Bad Gal. lol!
17Lash Out (Waterproof) by L'Oreal
18MAC's FIBRE RICH LASH
I have thin eyelashes and this works AMAZING!!
19BADgal lash is wonderful! Have you ever tried Helena Rubenstien Spider Eyes? I love that one, too!
20I was using Clinique mascara for about 3 years when I bought a sampler from Sephora. Since the first day trying Buxom by Bare Escentuals I knew I found my perfect mascara. I have long eyelashes...long to the point where they touch my eyebrows when my eyes are open...and this mascara provides color, length, and amazing definition without all the clumping together of the individual eyelashes. Definitely my perfect mascara.
