All aboard for this new denim trend. Railroad stripes are youthful, utilitarian and fresh. I have a pair of cropped jeans I've had for years, by Dickies, and I still wear them. They have a great, comfy worn feel to them and I love them with bold colors like red, yellow, and emerald green. These have a definite nautical vibe too. Check out a few of my finds:

When we first started dating, my now-fiance was still growing out of his "ska" years and had a pair of pants in which I could fit my entire body into one leg - and of course, they were railroad striped (and carpenter pants as well). I would not allow him to ever wear them in my presence and they eventually disappeared - please don't tell him the railroad stripes are in! Although, I like those Keds
1Whoa - those stripes don't show up very well on screen. Otherwise, I like them - particularly that reversible bag (but I am a sucker for anything polka dot). Love the keds too!
