While a lot of the Fall fashions won't actually be available in stores for another couple of weeks, we are starting to hear what some of the major trends will be. Some of them I like (dark, rich colors and cozy sweaters!) and some of them make me shudder (leggings and ankle boots?). Not sure I will ever be able to get back in to the leggings thing but we'll see...

I love winter clothes...I have already brought 8 pieces for my winter wardrobe. I was in the changes rooms swealtering but the clothes were so cute...I love the chunky knits I will be getting lots of those.
1ditto jk, but some of these don't look figure flattering
2Yes EP...but when it is -5 outside all you care about is staying warm
3i know. the skinny jeans and knee boots just don't seem particularly flattering
4I love the skinny jeans...knee boots look...wore it to death last season...but not anyone can rock it...you have to be a certain size for wear it well.
5Thats fashion..it be hard sometimes.
6Sorry guys, but I LOVE skinny Jeans. The bold colors and the plaid are cool too. Plaid is almost always in during the fall.
7i just bought the cardigan for my girls at Children's Place! same big buttons and cuffs. no belt, but for $16.50 i can live with that.
8ew. i HATE ankle boots. i just think they are soo ugly.
9Ahh I'm so excited now that I don't live in Florida I can buy all these fun winter fashions!
10But ew, I hate the skinny jeans thing. I'm just not skinny enough for them, lol.
11I bought my lil' daughter similar cardingan pink with belt,as we have Winter here right now (in OZ land) - size 1 - it is so gorgeous - similar to the top one but has to be pink pink - :-)girly. Ankle boots look great when you know how to wear them,I remember always my Sis she rolls up her Jeans and wears them look just fabulous & classy. JK BOOGIE I totally agree with you - I love my SASS & BIDE skinny legs & Chloe boots just great - LUCKY ME I can enjoy it now but don't like the cold cold
.
12I love plaid and big chunky sweaters. Finally I may be able to not wear a bra since all this stuff is baggy. Skinny jeans and leggings are just blah. I would stick with tailored pants, long wools skirts, and preppy cargos. Also I love the leather boots coming out this year.
13BeachKate, I'm with you a zillion percent. I can positively, absolutely, 100% guarantee that I will not be buying a pair of ankle boots. Ick, yuk, phooey!
14I like the plaid. The leggings not so much.
15Leggings and skinny jeans are flattering my figure, so I have no problem with wearing them, I just look like 2x4 with bigger pants. I've bought an over-sized grey wool cardigan that I'm looking forward to wear this fall, with the leggings or skinny jeans, the boots (alytought with no heels) and the trench coat. I really love this.
It's so 80's without the bright colors. Also blue is making it's come-back, leaving the aqua tones for the more rich purple-blue tones.
