This time around New York Fashion Week did not wow me. Some new trends emerged (high waist, plaid, slim silhouette), but too many lingered (metallics, 80s, somber colors). Alas, it's always an exciting whirlwind of fashion. On to London!

I am so down with the plaid trend. Awesome!
I like everything but the high waist..its too 80's and uncomfortable...
I'm not crazy for the high waist either. Stapless is nice, but not fun for flat chested girls like me.
I'm not liking the trends:( Except for the slim silhouettes.
I kinda like the high waist. I used to be teased when I was younger b/c I had no hips and my pants used to fall so low my undies would show. So the high waist is a nice change!!
I think high waist pants look great on the right figure (i.e. long-waisted girls), but sadly not on me. I am loving those strapless dresses though!
I love the trend of headbands and hats. I want to like the high waisted look but I don't know if I could pull that off.
Ack...I think one must be very slim to wear this season's fashions! Anyone with curvy hips looks even heavier in high-waisted pants. I also can't wear strapless dresses because I have that little fat bulge near the armpit... *sigh*

I don't think I can pull off the high waist either.
The high waist depresses me. They don't work on 98% of the population.
I'm not fond of the high waist either, but I love strapless and the headgear I think is going to work for me this year. I've been experimenting with different hats and head wraps at home but rarely have the courage to wear it out. I'm going to try something chic on my head tomorrow.
