Ms. Nemcova is looking very much like a glittering goddess in this super metallic little flirty dress that does a booby good (but fix your bra girl!). I like the idea of flats on the red carpet but it just doesn't jive here. She and James Blunt make quite the cute rock n' roll couple. Thoughts?

Who is James Blunt to show up in jeans, a tee shirt, and a jacket? I realize he doesn't want to be pigeon-holed for that (wretched) song You're Beautiful like he whined in that Life Magazine article, but jeez, it is the Grammys, have some class.

I think the style of the flats is worse than the fact that she's wearing flats with the dress...they're way too casual.
13totally agree with cg2003 and all the others- she's already so much taller than him so if she wore heals it would be ridiculous how much taller she would look. Maybe even a different flat would be better though because I don't think they match well. But I love the shape of the dress

17I don't mind the idea of flats, just not these flats. A sparkly mini dress (which I love) does not work with grecian sandals. She needs a much fancier shoe for this.
And he needs to lose the jeans and t-shirt. Not dressing for the event doesn't make you cool, it makes you look dumb.

21all i can say is i feel for her on the shoes issue. i'm her height and my bf is just a little shorter than me, and whenever we are called to dress up, i fret for DAYS (WEEKS, or if i know about the event longer, MONTHS) about what i'm going to wear and what shoes i'll find that won't make me look like a oomplete dildo giant next him. i've brought sometimes 4 pairs of shoes in the car with us before because i couldn't decide and we were running late. and then taken a spare pair in my purse inside. seriously i've got issues. ok, i don't know when this turned into my personal diary instead of talking about petra, so i uh, think i'm going to stop talking now.
