I have pretty full lips as it is, but I used to buy them because I sort of liked the tingling--but I can't kiss my boyfriend if I'm wearing any. He hates them because he says they make his
lips burn. What's the point of making your lips look good (supposedly) if you can't kiss?
I've tried lip venom (DuWop) and I still think it's a crock. My lips deifinitely didn't swell .. they just burned for a few and left me with a gross cinnamon-like taste. And it was uber
sticky..
Theres this one type from Bath and Body Works and its also sold at Sephora. Its pink? i think its lip venom? well i put that on with my friend and about 2 minutes later my lips plumped up so
badly that i was like drooling.
so ya it worked.
When a lip plumper promises long-term results, it's a scam. All of them temporarily swell your lips. The manufacturers of these lip products are not allowed to use any real
medical/chemical ingredients, such as restylane or collagen. Injections are the only thing that will work long-term (with monthly/yearly maintenance, of course).
There is a mint lip gloss from victorias secret called balmy nights and although its not a plumping lip gloss, it does make your lips appear bigger! and its alot cheaper!
Carmex makes your lips tingle the same way...but they've never claimed to plump up your lips....I think moisturized lips look plumper in general, and the tingling sensation is a ploy to make
you think it's doing something spectacular.
Lady Dragoness is right; the plumping action comes from capsaicin, the "hot" in peppers. Actually, continued exposure CAN result in contact dermatitis, so plain gloss or something with
menthol might be better for you.
I have tried every lip plumper, some better cheap or expensive. I paid $150.00 for a little injections..........wow! It does not hurt and for six months, no lip plumper!! I have spent that
much alone on trying to perfect my lips with gloss...No injections .........try Sally Hansen or Plump Potion. Good Luck!

Kate Beckinsale was spotted leaving the hair salon in LA looking perfectly coiffed from head to toe. She wore a shirtdress over leggings, pairing it with Fiorentini + Baker buckle boots and a cozy scarf for a Fall-appropriate look.
Some barely work. Its just a bunch of tingling. Gloss usually makes your lips look bigger anyways
1I've never noticied any plumping. They just make my lips chapped.
2does swelling and discomfort really = a sexy plump?
3I like DuWop Lip Venom. I think it works good, but like all glosses it comes off quickly.

6Sorry you didn't like it Lindsb! I kinda like the hot-cinnamon taste

8so ya it worked.
I used to have lip fusion until I lost it in a cab! It didn't make my lips huge, but it did make them bigger.

12None I've tried so far.
13It's VERY subtle. It doesn't make much of a difference and they cost around $40 so it's not worth it.
14Some do work, the ones that I know of that work contains Cayenne pepper. you can add a little Cayenne pepper to any of your lip gloss for plumping.
15Naked Kiss works. Gloss and lipstick.
It works so well that if I kiss my boyfriend while I'm wearing it, he gets all puffy.
If I kiss him on the cheek it swells up, same goes for the lips etc.
So it works but he hates me wearing it.
16LIPFUSION is the only one that I found worked...
17I think I read somewhere all they do is burn, tingle and not do anything but burn and tingle.
18I had a gloss that had nice flavor & tingle but no plumping action
