I love white gold, but I'm not always picky when it comes to random rings, necklaces, and such, so I love silver too.
And how bout that Mexican silver? BEAUTIFUL

I'm not married/engaged yet, but when that day comes I will need to have a platinum ring and band. I do NOT like white gold, I think it's generic and not all that nice looking. I love the way
platinum looks. I would rather have platinum and a small rock than white gold and a big rock. But that's just me
I love my yellow gold is classic and it goes with my skin tone and the color of my hair I don't know maybe is a silly thing but I think it stands out more. Also in my country we use yellow
gold a lot but I rather buy it there than here, ours is 18k and less expensive.
I love my white gold wedding rings! They look exactly the same as platinum but without the ridiculous price tag. And white gold doesn't tarnish as easily. My husband's ring is titanium, he
likes the color and how lightweight it is.
I like silver and white gold, and I have platinum wedding jewelry. I am very anti-yellow gold, and it's been very hard finding a good bag to buy these past seasons.
I like silver, stainless steel and platinum the most- white gold is a little soft for the price. With gold, the higher the karat, the softer the metal. It's true white gold doesn't tarnish
easily, but neither does platinum, and platinum's very strong.
As far as the look of white gold- don't blame the color if you don't think it looks bad- blame the manufacturer. Having worked in the jewelry business for a number of years, I can tell you
that it's the additives that make metals the color they are, and silver/platinum/stainless steel can look alike or very different depending on what else is added to it.That's the only thing
that differentiates white gold from yellow gold and rose gold, also "old gold" and even black hills gold.

Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.

I am not a big fan of jewelry only on special occasions

4i dont like wearing jewelry but if i had to that would be white gold
5B/c we could only vote for one metal, I chose platinum since I love it's grayish tones. I am equally in love with 18K rose gold too though.
6I do love vintage gold!

8Hmm...anyone know what the "rules" are for matching jewelry with your skin tone?
9Is not a rule jc82 its a personal opinion, I think in some people silver, white gold and platinum doesn't look good ( my case) but that's just me.
10It depends on the stone. If it is Sapphire or
Tanzanite I prefer white gold. If it is Ruby, Garnet or Emerald I prefer yellow gold.
It depends on skin tone also -- some people just can't wear white gold

13Platinum is my favorite. I can't wear yellow gold - it looks bad on my skin tone.
