I am officially obsessed with patent leather. I've always fancied it but with it being a key player in recent seasons, and more readily available, my love affair has grown. But, as we know, too much of a good thing, sometimes ruins. This Burberry Red Patent Slicker, $695, is slick, yummy, and too much of a good thing? You tell me - I'm undecided.

I love it but I hate this stupid company. They kill poor inncent animals 4 fur!
1I don't really love patent leather, but sometimes it is fun in small doses. This is definitely too much for my taste! Plus, I bet it is really noisy!
2I love red patent! This coat is too cute!
3I'm not a fan -- only the super skinny should wear this -- anyone larger would just look like a ladybug w/ out spots
4No thanks!
5I don't like long patent coats.
6I adore this jacket!! I love anything Burberry.
7Little too prophylactic for me!
8Yo! Three words that make me love it:
RED
PATENT
LEATHER
Is there anything more to say?
9Price aside - this is a great, fun, bright item to cheer any girl up on a rainy, icky day. I love it.
10I agree with bhilb--patent leather is cute in small doses, but this is too much.
11my only problem is that I tend to hide out in jammies all snuggled in the bed on rainy days... so no one would ever see me in it ha ha!
12I like it. It would be fun to wear on a gloomy day.
13My grandma used to have a coat nearly identical to this! Except it was bought at like, Kmart or something.
14This is too cute!! I love Burberry non-plaid stuff!
15I'm that girl who wears wellies with jolly rogers all over them when it's raining. This would be the perfect compliment to my loud and obnoxious rainy day wear. In my humble opinion, rainy days require something bright and fun to wear. This totally fits the bill.
16I love it. I want it. Please give it to me.
