Do you remember all of the hype about a year ago over Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer? Like the rest of America, I just had to have it and I found myself frantically hopping around to three different drug stores until I was able to find a tube of the coveted Natural Glow for Face. I used it for a month or so and until I realized that I was turning a bit orange and that constant strong self tanner smell was starting to make me feel woozy! I need some help finding a new self tanner that is light, natural looking and has a smell that I can stomach.
I asked you all to go beauty marking to help me find a new self tanner. To see all the self tanner picks cick here.
Let's see what you all book marked! Oh, and it was interesting to note that most of the beauty marks were non-drugstore brands. Makes me wonder: does cost really provide quality with self tanners?

Beauty Mark #1, found by DesignRchic, is this Decleor Aroma Sun Hydrating Self-Tanning Milk, $35.50. This ultra-smooth, non-oily emulsion develops into a rich, natural-looking tan in one to two hours as it keeps the skin hydrated and glowing.

Beauty Mark #2, found by girlandetc, is this ModelCo Tan Airbrush In A Can, $7-$36. Here's a self-tanner that puts an end to stained hands and uneven coverage. The deep golden pigment gives you an instant all-over healthy glow while the long lasting self-tanner develops underneath in hours. Infused with hydrating aloe vera and the exotic scent of cocoa butter, Tan delivers the perfect color with a 360-degree nozzle to cover all hard-to-reach areas.

Beauty Mark #3, found by la_clique, is this St. Tropez Tanning Essentials Tinted Self Tanning Lotion, $37.50. This lotion works instantly for a streakless application that will last for days. This aloe vera based lotion is non-greasy and quick drying, with a relaxing aromatic scent.

I hav used this one tanning product, that i hav found works rly good. It is called Salon Bronze. It is basically an at home tanning system. But it is not complicated. There is basically a can of tanning spray that u insert into a sprayer device. When u r doing this, i suggest u spray it on u in a shower. U will be extremely pleased with the results. No orange look, natural tan glow. The next day I went to school, ppl were like, "did u go somewhere really warm and get a tan"?I found this product at CVS, for 15 dollars, but I think it is now reduced to 7 dollars.k bye!
1Seriously, anyone that can find a tanner that is NOT stinky please let me know- I swear the stinky scent is way stronger on my skin & sticks around longer than on anyone else. Plus, I am VERY fair skinned (but with dark hair); I've had people ask me on seperate occasions why I am wearing white pantyhose- I own no white pantyhose-
I'll gladly be a guinea pig to the products that get the majority of votes. I am always on the look out for the newest best thing- but I too wonder if the expensive stuff is really better. It's all the same active ingredient, but who knows?
2Sake2Me, believe me, try the modelco tanning spray! i can't stand the smell either, and it's awesome, it actually smells good!!
and i tried the new GLOWfusion from sephora, and its SOO nice too, but a bit smelly. haha.
3I didn't beauty mark this because I thought Fab was looking specifically for face tanners, but I LOVE Olay Quench Daily Radiance lotion. I have really pale skin too, and this gives just the right hint of tanner so you don't look orangey and noticeably fake-tanned (which naturally pale people tend to). It also smells REALLY good, which was something I read about it before I bought it and totally thought was crap but is actually good. And it's super cheap!
4there was another article like this, so i commented this exact thing already, but i shall again, because everyone loves a good sale right?! i like the true blue spa self tanners they have at Bath & Body Works, the spray is my favorite so far, and they were on sale at our store for $4 a few weeks ago, and they gave me a coupon for a free true blue spa product with any purchase, and i'm glad i thought of it cause i think its almost time to use it! yay!!
5The Bare Minerals self tanner isn't too bad but I really want to try the airbrush spray.
I've tried the Hempz bronzer and it's okay too, but you have to apply it every day and it takes forever to get a nice color. Plus, it leaves a smell that I don't care for.
6I definitely prefer the sprays because you are able to do the back of your hands. I usually use the Neutrogena tanner, the smell isn't the best, but I do it at night and then just have a shower in the morning so I don't have to live with the smell all day. Not too badly priced either $12.99 CDN
7Ive tried some of the self tanners people have commented on, and also tried a bunch of others. I have to say I like a new brand that I found. It is called Avivalabs. They have a gel product that works well - it just takes practice to get the application right but the color is really pretty. And, the best part is there is no smell like many others that Ive tried. It is also made for sensitive skin which is good for me. Has anyone else tried their stuff? When I was on their site I saw that they make spray tan solutions too.
8I'm always on the lookout for a great self tanner! Nothing I have tried yet has met my need and expectations for one.
