Lily Donaldson and Gemma Ward make doing laundry look glamorous, but for those of us in the real world, it's anything but. Whether you're doing it in a ball gown or not, the reality is that yellow pit stains are one of the things that make the process grueling. They're stubborn and a major pain to remove. Plus, they make you look smelly, certainly not a look a Fabby is going for.

Take any aspirin, like Bayer Aspirin Coated Tablets ($5) and drop one tablet in the washing machine before doing laundry. The pill naturally dissolves and helps remove yellow pit stains, and any other stains your clothes may have. Who knew a pill could be so multi-talented?!

Awesome!
For real!?
That is sweeeeet!
Good job!
I didn't know that. I'm running to CVS
Yeah that is a much better option for getting those stains out than the other methods I've tried. I once tried to bleach them out and that totally did in my white tank tops for good. Then I heard about the aspirin trick, tried it out and it worked like a dream. Highly recommend.
That's wacky! I will have to try it.
will it affect colored clothes?
wow. Cool idea
GREAT solution! Thanks for sharing.
Ditto syako. Is it color safe?
SOO COOL!
This solves one of my biggest pet peeves!
So it has to be bayer?
I just read about this in my latest Lucky Magazine. I'll definitely try this next time the need arises.
Fab advice. I never have to deal with this but I know people who do.
It doesn't have to be Bayer by any means. Any aspirin will do. And syako, I'd only use this on whites. xo.
wow
Has anyone tried this before? Does it really work?
Wow Fab great tip!!
A little too late for the white vest I threw away last week, but I'll remember this for the future!
I just try to bleach everything. I can't wait to try it.
In my experience, it doesn't work on really set-in stains too well - like your work-out clothes. The trick I've found for the really bad stains is baking soda, vinegar, and boiling water poured directly on the stain and let it soak for a while, then wash normally.
