I feel like we're all perpetually in search of the perfect pair of jeans. All I'm asking for is a pair with the perfect wash, cut, and fit — does it even exist?
Earlier this week, I asked you to share your best prospect for the perfect pair of jeans and told you that my current fave is the J Brand Mid Rise 16-inch Straight Leg Jean ($159) — I love the simple cut and color.
Let's see what you came up with!
Fab Find #1, made by Lala77 shows that she's a true denim connoisseur. Her favorites include every shape, cut, and color imaginable!

Fab Find #2, made by ESTONE are the Gap Long & Lean Jeans ($48, originally $58). They're budget friendly, have a slimming dark wash, and look comfy — what's not to like?
Fab Find #3, made by WhiplashGirlchild are an assortment of American Eagle jeans; she relies on them for great variety and affordable prices.

I have a pair of the J Brand mid-rise straight leg, and I'm OBSESSED with them, I wear them all the time (I also bought them 1/2 off at a boutique that was closing for renovations, so that makes them all the more awesomerer).
1I wish I could find the perfect jean
I'm a fat chick (I wear a size 20) with a flat butt and skinnyish legs... Most jeans for big girls are made in a stereotypical fashion of girls with big butts, and big thighs..So My butt always sags horribly and ppl mistake me from a guy from behind.. and generally I could fit a football in the thighs of my pants
It drives me bananas!
2Those look very nice. are they comfy?
3I love my True Religion jeans!
4I love my True Religions too, I have a couple pairs of Sevens too, but they always gap at the waist! Plus the denim is a little on the thin size. I am a size 27 with skinny legs but a very bubbly butt for my size. True Religion is the only brand that absolutely fits me everywhere w/no alteration. LOVE them.
5So many fab-looking choices!! I'm dying to try J Brand. Skinny jeans are by far my favorite and I've heard such great things about theirs.
My favorite pairs of jeans are by Express, Blue Cult, and Seven. I also think GAP makes decent jeans.
6I'm loving all the skinny jeans thank you everybody!I'm gonna buy like 20
7I feel as though this would have been much more useful if it had been done by body type. . .
8Ruehl Skinny Jeans are my favs... and at only $100 a pair you can really buy them in bulk.
9Those jeans all look cute, but do they fit actual people? Almost all of them look like they would only fit someone super skinny and tall...normal jeans anyone?
10I'm super picky about jeans but I wouldn't pay over $100 for a pair. I just think that's a waste.
11I have the Ravens in a lighter wash...I love them! they always look cute and the low (but not too low) rise is flattering.
12Lala is a genius.))
13Great job Lala!
I so wish we had J Brand jeans here
14Thanks so much Fab !!!
15Yes I know lmm
Its so difficult for me to find jeans that actually fit, so ordering them off the internet isn't exactly a great option. But it's cool to check them out anyway and covet. Ha ha!
16I love the looks of those Seven bootcut jeans Lala found!
17Totally agree with Geminispoppy. How about jeans for some us who don't have perfect skinny legs? Or for the petite? This post is only for a select few, I gather?
18while I wear my j brand low-rise pencil leg jeans as often as possible (why can't my office have more 'casual' days rather than just friday!) and I do love them, it feels like they have yet to be broken in. I've had the jeans since November and they still feel a bit stiff. I wish I could find pencil leg low-rise jeans that were like a second skin/super comfy. anyone have any recommendations?
19I agree with aimeeb, I have never paid $100+ for a pair of jeans... they are DENIM.
If I'm going to spend a lot of money on a piece of clothing, it will be something more dressy. I'll spring for a silk dress for that price.
I don't even see those tapered-leg ("skinny") jeans in stores any more.
20Ya Brooklynbee I'm so over the skinny jean.
And you're right if I'm going to spend some real cash it'll be on a great piece not denim.
21What would be the perfect jean for me. I have huge hips and bottom with skinny legs. I can never find jeans that fit me quite right.
22J Brands are fabulous. I found mine at a discount store and bought them for 22 bucks! I love them, they are super comfy. Also, some other favorites include Rock and Republic, they are perfectly long enough and also Kasil jeans are very wearable.
23I love my True Religions.
24Except that I have to get them hemmed about 6 or 7 inches,
but the rest of the fit is perfect for me.
A good pair of jeans is worth its weight in gold.
I need to try J Brands. I was getting designers for a while and have a few pair but I got them on discount so they were less than $100. Now that I do not receive the discount I am sure I will not spend that much. I got a nice pair of Banana Republic Jeans and for 39 bucks which I wear more than all the dsigner ones I have. Although I must say of the lot my Paige's and Joe's are the best fit.
