Lost? Psh, as far as I can tell, France is one of the only countries that is getting it right.
5I actually used to like her as a singer, but I am absolutely disgusted to see where ambition has got her. Marrying him was so obviously a staged scenario from both of them to get more attention (and they probably hoped, more love) from the media and the people.
She made a fool of herself in London, trying way too hard to look like Jaqueline Kenedy, I actually used to have a bit of respect for her after she managed to prove she wasn't just another one of these models who think they can sing, but now all I have for her is shame, I love my country and my culture, but God am I angry my people elected that idiot!
6All these negative comments about "La Carla" from folks who know her only from glossy magazines. Carla Bruni is an amazing woman, by any measure. She is multi-talented, she has vitality, class, style, an engaging personality, and she is a perfect foil to the jug-eared but reasonably intelligent and competent Sarkozy. Carla is no stranger to the whole media game, and she is at ease in any company. Would you have her make policy for her husband as well? pjc
