This dress looks too casual for the event, but that's just my taste.

I love the dress, she kept it fun and youthful, but still classy- I do not like her ear rings however, they do not go.

Jessica is dressed for the after parties. She doesn't look elegant enough for the Oscar's red carpet. What is the story with that skinny belt? She looks matronly. Maybe it's the hair.

personally I love the color- and binkthy, hot pink is back but nice try! the belt just makes it too casual, and without the dress wouldn't have a lot of shape to it- and wouldn't show off her perfect body! maybe this wasn't the best dress for THIS event but it was still cute-- the hair not so much

I hate this dress. Her boob was hanging out of the side of, I hate the cut and the black belt against such a hot pink color. It looks tacky. And her hair -style ages her 20 years!

That being said I think Jessica Biel is absolutely gorgeous - nothing against her - just the dress!

re: uptowngirl on hot pink - with please see the seminal oscar de la renta dress that was featured a couple years ago on SATC. just try to tell me this is not the poor man's version of that dress, in terms of the colour combo (black belt set against hot pink)...and how befitting of jessica biel this badly cut, cheap-looking "gown" truly is.

Loathe it. Hate the overall look. Jessica has looked so much better in the past. The Oscars is not the time to look your average self.

I like the pale coloured dress on the woman behind her in the second pic more than what Biel herself is wearing.

The dress is so gorgeous...very bright and beautiful, but the hair looks very antique. Too antique for this dress and for her age!

How could a girl with so many natural resources look so bad? The cut, the color, the hair; no, no, no! What a waste of one of Hollywood's natural beauties.

I thought that this dress was horrible. It did nothing for her. Hey Jessica- the 1980s called and they want their fug dress back. She could have made a much better choice here, I am very disappointed!

This is simply disastrous look. Usually she looks pretty but here? Yuck.

When I first saw this I loved it. Now I'm not so sure. I think it would look better if you chopped the length off, and wore it to the VMA's or something. Her hair was too electric shocked.

It took me forever to figure out what I hated about this dress. At first, I thought it was the earrings. They just don't go at all with the dress, but they weren't really bothering. Then I thought it was the hair, which is too matronly but still looks decent. Then I thought it was the belt, which in theory is okay, but the belt she chose is too casual for the dress. It also looks to be too big for her, and therefor is not properly cinching in the waist. But now I think I know what I really hate about this:

It doesn't fit her at all on the top! The fabric of the top is just so wide that it throws it all off, and her awesome upper body just gets lost in all that fabric. Not a good choice, Jessica.

I like the dress but I hate the hair.
