Dislike. First off, I really dislike the coloring of the dress, not my favorite shoe for this look and way too formal.

i was going to vote love it, because i think it kind of works for her, and then i saw the SHOES. ugly... and it does kind of look like a bridesmaid dress. BUT she still looks gorgeous and at least she made an effort, unlike rihanna

A little too fancy for a event like this. I think if she chose a more free-flowing dress with those shoes it would have looked better.

It looks to me like the shoes are meant to add a slightly more casual element to the overall look. And given that the most formal event most readers of this blog will go to is a wedding, I think it's a bit silly in this case to call too formal - it's not like it resembles a wedding dress, after all.

Hate it. The dress is too formal,hate the color,the shoes are wrong for the dress. But her makeup and hair are fine. I do think that she doesn't have a fashion sense,and I guess her stylist didn't help her for this one.

The shape of the dress is perfect for her....maybe in a teal or fuschia purple? She can pull of bright colors because of her dark hair pretty easily

I agree with everybody else. the shoes are UGLY and wrong place for that dress.

Her hair and makeup are beautiful! She looks fabulous from the neck up. The style of the dress (as another post said) works for her body but why not do it in a fun color (and maybe a different material)? A deep plum or teal maybe? A fun print? Something to give it some vibrancy. And while those shoes are cute and I agree that they were probably added to give a casual vibe to the formal dress, they don't go at all. Some cute metallic or colorful strappy heels would have been better. Her clutch looks cute but again, it's not very fun. She is so pretty and has such great assets (dark hair, beautiful skin, hourglass figure), why not play them up instead of washing her out and making her blah?

I think the shoes could have worked with a different outfit. I agree about the dress; I think the main problem with it is the fact that it is taffeta - uggh! However, if she had opted for a bright color, the taffeta might even work but, again, not with the wedges...

I don't know about the wedges with this dress, or this dress with the KCAs, but she is just so cute to me, she can't really do any wrong!
