Lauren Conrad was looking both polished and adorable while promoting her line at Holt Renfrew in Canada. She teamed an amethyst high waisted skirt from her Fall collection (naturally) with a black tank, opaque tights, and some hot stilettos. I am definitely still enamored with the high waist trend, especially in the form of a figure flattering skirt. Lauren's exact skirt isn't available to the masses yet, so I chose this gorgeous Vanessa Bruno pleat detail confection instead.

I feel like the only person who just doesn't like this girl's style. She seems TOO placed and polished for me; her curled hair, the makeup, the matched everyhing. I find it more appealing when a celebrity looks put together, but not like she tried quite so hard.
1not the only one eyelet
2she needs to go away.
im sick of people putting her on a pedestal.
3She looks nice.
4you are so not alone, eyelet. i normally believe if you don't have anything nice to say, etc. etc., but I can't remain quiet any longer. I think she is a cute gal, but not chic or fashion-forward. It seems mtv is trying to convince us otherwise, but i'm not fooled
5so, to end on a positive note, that L.A.M.B. top is too cute!
Lauren looks so chic in this outfit. Very modern and girlie at the same time. I think both top and skirt are part of her fall collection. I never understand why people who do not like her style must comment. Just dont open her threads, ignore and only posts on people that you find fashionable. BTW, She looks super fab.
6Such a cute outfit.
7She annoys me, but I LOVE that outfit. She looks fab.
8such a cute outfit! anyoen know where i can get it?
9I personally am not into the uber polished look, that may be a taste that formed out of function, but I could see why someone else would like her style. Can there be no variety in fashion? It appears as if uber polished and slightly wholesome is in the minority. Or are we all supposed to look like the same strategically disheveled yet "chic" dolls.
10Jessie, thanks for writing that, you expressed it much better than I. It seems that for someone to be stylish they have to be part of the trendy/layered on tons of designers. Whereas, those who have a chic, polish look are considered boring and not stylish. Lauren looks ultra feminin and chic here.

12I really like her style though personally, I think Whitney's style is more interesting. She looks very cute in this outfit though.
13Lauren was soo fresh and beautiful looking before she moved to L.A.
now you can see what L.A has done to her; still beautiful but looks like she runs the club circuit all the time.
but that's what happens when folks move here to L.A., they party it up and burn the candle at both ends.
14she trys TOO hard!nice outfit tho
15She needs to cut her hair again. It seems as if she's going back to the boring long curling iron look. I do like her fashion line though, it's very laid back but put together.
16She looks great here.
17I love her style, she's always dressed with class.
18She looks really good.
