Bold leading ladies showed up last night in long dresses that balanced sharp architectural lines - both horizontal and vertical - along the top and midsection with soft sweeping trains. Cameron's white Valentino was a bold move, as was Gwyneth's Zac Posen art deco gown; I love Queen Latifah but didn't think those horizontal lines were the most flattering!

Cam-the damn thing looks like a bib. Bad choice.
Gwenyth-not so good, she couldve pulled this off better and the lipstick choice is atrocious.
Maggie-props for not dropping crazy amounts of baby weight too fast.
1I really liked cam and gwen's dresses, and thought they both looked amazing. but poor poor eva. She's so pretty but looked like such a train wreck!
2I love Queen Latifah, but not this dress. I thought Jada and Maggie both looked really pretty.
3Cameron, Jada, and Maggie looked amazing. Queen Latifah could have done without the stipes in the dress.
4Averil looks like a mummy.
~live well... laugh hard...~
i think cameron diaz rocked her valentino gown! i love the way she experiments with edgy styles. maggie and jada are looking absolutely elegant but the james bond chick looks dead and creepy while the dress is just too much for my taste.
not much of a fan of gwyneth's gown.
