The most fabulous news: My Fab closet is done! I wanted to make sure it was in tip top order before I did my big reveal. I also had to go the The Container Store to get some boot fillers, skirt hangers (the kind with the multiple hang) and some plastic containers for under my bed storage.
To take this 'up' a level I would get consistent hangers (wood or metal) and I would have all the shoes go in 1 direction. This is a great use of space though!!!
That does save space; I use to keep my shoes like that. I would love to having matching hangers however I know that will never happen (I lose them to often!lol.) I love your closet!

LOVE the closet!!! Congrats! I went through endless iterations in my old apartment: California Closets, Container Store, Home Depot...even Target housewares depts became my best friends. I
finally realized that no mortal closet would do -- and I took a clue from the Hilton sisters (the ONLY thing I'd ever do to imitate them)... When I moved into a 2 BR house... I put my bedroom
(really only bed, night tables, TV cabinet) into the VERY small second bedroom...and made the master bedroom my closet!!! Oh yes! I used IKEA bookshelves (6 tall ones) for shoes, have 2
dressers, 4 small bookcases for purses, bags, and clutches. Used the already present closet to hang dresses, pants, skirts and tops...and then got a couple more rolling racks for coats and
jackets (cheap on eBay from retail stores who don't need them...nice & sturdy). Bonus is that my bathroom is connected and I added a dressing/makeup table corner so I can come out of a
nice bath or shower; stroll through my closet room and leisurely put together outfits...a TOTAL FAB indulgence and I love it! Hmmm...long post, but just had to share with those who would

1the shoes are like that so that Fab can see the front and back of each pair.
2Yes, that is correct — I also think it saves a bit of space to have them this way. As for hangers, I'm not that anal.
