Meryl? Seriously? You were nominated for an Oscar for playing one of the most fashionable women in all of film history and this is what you decide to wear? This entire ensemble is horrible from the therapist beads to the greasy stringy hair. Just bad, bad, bad. What do you think?

All of it is just AWFUL. The dress OF COURSE, the hair the face, ALL OF IT!
3I loved what she had to say about being a size 14. That was very honest and relatable. But the dress accentuated the negatives and the jewelry was rather gaudy. From what I have seen over the years, she seems to be an awesome person and soooo talented and beautiful, but I do not think that outfit did justice to her at all. But if she liked it, that is all that matters.
4I kinda love it because she looks super-funky. More importantly, though, thank you for adding "therapist beads" to my vocabulary. I love that! Ha ha

The blue sash and orange beads emphasized her milky skin. As for the hair, well no one's straight hair looked good to me last night.
Over all I think Meryl looked earthy and self confident unlike the majorty of carpet walkers who looked severe and drawn.

13I loved it, casual but still chic. She looked like she didn't need to impress anyone, but she still looked great.
