Katie Holmes just can't leave home without them . . .

No way José.
2That has to be the most idiotic thing I've heard in a while.
3Yeah, that's ridiculous...you wouldn't even be able to walk on the sand without sinking into it. Not to mention your feet would be covered in sand, making it even harder to walk.
4bare feet!
5No way...
6Ha! For the sake of fabulousness, yes!
7Good ol' flip flops
8No, very tacky.
9nope! i mean i guess if there was a wedding at like a yacht club or something on the beach i might wear heels- but if i was actually gonna be in the sand? its either flipflops or nothing!
10Not like on the sand do I wear them, but I will wear them if I am in my bikini and at a bar or on a boat or something.
11It's sooooo hard to walk on the sand in heels.
12Yes, I agree all of you have common sense. Seriously, but I've been brain washed by all of the Japanese women wearing heals constantly. I don't feel dressed without them! Women wear fishnets here on a regular basis and stockings with jewels at the ankle. Heals are a necessity! It's a little hard not to get brain washed! But, being 5 feet even makes heels even more attactive. I really need your dose of reality! Thanks!!!

i wear heels, flip flops, or no shoes at all to the beach, depending on my mood. when i do wear heels, i wear a fun and appropriate pair like my Dior beach platforms, jelly wedges, or
kitten-heeled rubber flip flops, unless it's a big event or something. this post is making me antsy for summer
Walking around the board walk shopping, then yes. But on the sand is a big NO NO.
I love my heels too and I can't leave home to go on a trip without packing a few pair. When I get to where I'm going and I have to change again I just can't seem to deside again, just like I do when I'm at home standing in my closet taking forever to pick out a pair to go with my outfit for the day. So yeah I love my heels just as much as you all. But I would NOT wear them on a sandy beach.

Bare Feet!!! and Flipflops!!! Fab or not Heels are not necessary at the beach- Gotta have the sand between my toes thing goin on
I can barely walk with flat shoes on sand. No way am I wearing heels. In fact even on solid floor, I'm pretty much never in heels, except for the occasional kitten heel.
17barefoot only. i hate wearing even flip flops on the sand and having the sand get in my shoes anyways!
18That's ridiculous. As someone who has lived in Florida my entire life, I can barely stand to wear flip flops. Being fierce is all well and good until your heel twists in the sand and you end up with a broken ankle and a face plant.
19In Oregon, one usually wears sneakers on the beach because its too dang cold! Unless its the middle of summer....
20A pair of sexy high heels makes your legs look leaner and longer. When I am walking through the resort, and by the pool you can bet I have on a fabulous pair of heels. And I can tell you I look anything but tacky when I am walking in my bathing suit and heels!!! I only take them off when I walk down the stairs to the sandy beach. I wear heels that are usually wedges and always waterproof. My favorite are my white Louis Vuitton shoes made of rubber and velcro. They are particuarly hot. I found out they came in turquoise and pink when I saw Lindsay Lohan wore the same shoe in turquoise to her 21st birthday party.
21Heels- Pumps, or open toe- a big no. But Flip Flops, that sort of look like wedges, A big YES.
I love wearing them-If I'm not in the water, The sand is hot- and so is the boardwalk. My flip flops keep me high, where I like to be, and my back side looking nice. Another big plus, is they are light. Just like wearing regular flip flops.
I mean after a winter in a bike class working on my butt- there is nothing going to stop me from showing off a little.
22i did it once for a wedding, and it was not easy. beach time to me is relaxing time. and heels are not meant for relaxing!
23If there was a special event I might try it. I can barely walk on the beach in flats though so I'd probably end up barefoot.
24I'm not gonna lie. I would totally laugh at any of my friends if they wore heals to the beach.
25Packett, sounds practical
26I do. My boyfriend carries me down over the hot sand anyway. I wear heels, a light linen scarf, sunglasses, and lots of bracelets with my string bikinis.
27Not to the beach, unless there is an event. But to nicer hotel pools- aka the European pools in Vegas, or actual real European hotel pools- yes. These places have a sexier vibe than the beach, where its casual.
28Anyone who answered "Yes" to this is insane. I remember seeing Katie Holmes in her giant heels chasing little Suri around the Cap Ferrat. It's absolutely stupid to put your body at risk just to look foolish and "stylish." Plus, flip flops are about the most fun shoes ever!
29wow, i dont think i could rock heels at the beach haha...i dont think most people can. there are better and more practical ways to look fabulous at the beach...cute sandals anyone?
30that is just ridiculous! and i would laugh at anyone i saw wearing them at the beach.
31if it was a special event or something i might. but since i am already like 5'7'' i donut usually wear heels that often cause then i am like TOO tall, you know?
32I have to disagree with the comment about height. I have to say, I am 5'9 naturally, and I tower over ppl with sneakers- But my heels are a personal comfort to me, not because I lack the height.
That of coarse, is me.
33no way!
34
wear my precious shoes to the beach???no way....
But, I love those shoes in the picture...anybody knows who designed them??
I don't even wear shoes to the beach lmao
36every time i see someone wearing heels at the beach, hi, you're trying too hard. i don't care how FIERCE you want to look, it's obvious you're craving attention. any excuse to be comfy and wear a cute pair of flip-flops is a-ok in my book.
37only high wedges maybe, better for protecting against sand sneaking in but heels like, pointy heels? NO FREAKING WAY!

I find it very stupid and unapporpiate to wear heels at the beach. If there's a special event, maybe, but I mean, a big part of fashion to me is dressing for the occasion. The same way that you don't wear flip fops to a wedding, you don't wear heels to the beach because you are going to destroy them!
