Maybe maxi dresses really will catch on big time. They do capture that bohemian Summer vibe oh so well. Miss Molly Sims debuted the bold dress at Diane von Furstenberg's dinner I attended back in February, and Garcelle Beauvais Nilon selected it for a Saks Fifth Avenue event yesterday. They both wisely chose bare necklines and upswept 'dos, paving the way for the dress to make the main statement. It fits both of them like a dream, but I'm liking the shoulder cutouts on Molly's a tad bit more for that extra flash of skin. Who do you think wore it better?

2Umm... it was pretty even for me, both ladies look nice in the dress.... UNTIL my eyes went down to Garcell's feet... WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS!?? Those have GOT to be some of THE ugliest shoes I have seen in a while- not only do they spoil the dress and make the outfit hideous, but I bet they are pretty damn dreadful on their own too!! For that reason, Molly wins!!
3HA! I didn't even know what that was sticking out of her dress!! I said both, but now realizing that was a shoe, I would have to rescind my vote and go with Molly.

8I agree with flizzers. I was going to go with Garcelle until I saw those heinous plastic looking shoes peeking out. Omg, gross!
9I was going to say they both look nice ~ although I do think Molly's figure compliments the dress more ~ until GASP I saw those shoes Garcelle is wearing ~ they are HIDEOUS and ruin the whole look! YIKES!

12I like how their body types make the dress look so different. It looks great sort of drapey on the skinnier woman, but it's also sexy on the other's curves!
