Fergie has never really been one of my style icons, but prior to this outfit, she was doing quite well with her tailored shorts ensembles!
I can handle the crisp white button-down, oversized shades, and unassuming leather satchel, but they're hardly visible thanks to a bright orange (and is that patent I see?) cincher and the most loudly tie-dye jeans perhaps ever. There are ways to make tie-dye look chic, but a smaller dose is key.
I would much rather see her in some midrise wide leg jeans in an inky dark wash. The belt could be switched up in favor of a vintage brown one and the platform on those heels could be tamed down for a more daytime-appropriate look. How would YOU wear it?

I actually think the pants are kinda cute. However, she should lose the orange belt and maybe white or blue pumps. The pants have a nice hippie vibe to it though!
1The pants are like a mirage....I can't see them! I kid.
2The pants would be fine (sort of) with 100X less accessories...or everything else w/plaing pants but then that just wouldn't be Fergie would it? Who is making tie die pants anyway?
the pants are D&G...natch.
3I'd love it either with very dark denim, like you said, or maybe minus the belt but with some well-cut charcoal trousers and a sharp pair of stilettos for a bit of a dressier look.
4I think it might look good with a light flared denim and with a red skinny belt instead.
5Those pants make me cringe.
6Yikes! How would I wear it? I won't.
7She's a rock star. I can't think of a better excuse for getting a little louder than the average Jane with your look. She looks great.
8im sorry i, i would never wear those pants.
9Eeeek!!!! I could never wear those pants...
10Those pants are so awful, but I actually think she pulls it off. Props to her.
11Call me crazy but I actually like these pants. They are so hippy rock star! Perfect for Ferg.
12DEF lose the orange belt.
13AND, the shoes? yeah. they gotta go, too.
i'd prolly cut the pants into shorts and pair it with a plain white t-shirt and black stilettos, i guess.
but i have no idea how that'd look.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks she looks great as she is.
14for once i actually think she looks kind of fabulous...i dig the way she put this outfit together
15BELT SUCKS
16I LIKE THE UPPER BOYS
SHE'S GUD
BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY
MAIL ME
hmm...i kinda like this...
17The only thing that I would wear is the shirt!
18I am horrified by those pants but other than that, its a huge improvement compared to most of her looks.
19i kinda like her look...i probably wouldn't wear it myself, but it works for her.
20I actually really like the look on her, mind you I dont believe everyone can pull it off. But it definitely gives off a nonchalant chic hippie look, that I find very interesting. I probably wouldnt those jeans off the rack, but I adore the complete look
21I like the whole look except for the jeans. I'd just change those for a pair of high waisted wide legs in a dark rinse. That would be sexy and understated and the belt would add a touch of Fergie.
22I really like the pants, but I don't think I could pull them off.
23I actually like the pants. Especially on her.
24I wouldn't!!!
25I dont mind the pants in this instance the photog has captured Fergie, something to be said of personal style.
26I surprised how unoffended I am by this outfit. normally I would never ever think it was a good idea to tie-dye anything...
27but hey, this is somehow an improvement on her usual style
It's okey for her personality but for real street fashion on ordinary women, this might be hard to pull off. Oh, and ditch the orange belt.
28I'd burn those pants.
29fugly! lol i laughed when i saw this!
either Fergie is a fashion miss or Fashion hit!
it's funny how people say they hate the belt, but it's actually the best there! it's so spring 08
30in short tie-dye anything, except of the pants...hahaha tranny mess up!
31Love ya, Fergie, but dark skinny jeans or boot cute jeans would have been better.
