Karl Lagerfeld has been leaning on fellow German Claudia Schiffer hard recently: First, for the Dom Perignon ads he photographed, and now to rep his favored French fashion house. Claudia epitomizes what I think to be the Chanel woman: classy, sophisticated, and subtly sexy. Plus, it doesn't hurt that she's got the supermodel card on her side. Karl seems to like Claudia in black and white . . . do you?

4When I first saw this campaign I was wondering, wasn't it Karl Lagerfeld who once said that Claudia Schiffer looked like a duck and had a terrible walk?
I remember some prominent designer saying something like that about her when she was at the height of her career. Anyway, I'm not crazy about her face, her eyes are too close and too small, I never got how she was as successful as she was.

12This morning I found myself drooling over this ad on the back of a fashion magazine. I completely fell in love with the white dress! I don't want to marry in a classic wedding dress and this Chanel dress looks perfect *sigh* I hope the dress is still available in 5 years

16I think Karl's done a great job in this campaign, especially with THE ONE AND ONLY Claudia Schiffer. Karl always has been very supportive of Claudia, right from the very beginning. Out of nearly all the Chanel campaigns that Claudia with Karl, this one is probably the most elegant and beautiful. Even though I agree maybe a bit of color will make it even better. I'm so proud to be a Claudia's fan for more than 15 years now, I collect nearly 10 of her CHANEL catalogs now. Well done Claudia & Karl!! Simply stunning!
