She should have been gone. Do the whole show a favor.

It's not really 'fair' but I think she's definitely got a better look than Stacy-Ann.

While Fatima has never been a favorite of mine, I find it a bit odd that the production team was well aware of her passport issues, that they were the ones to set up the appointment -- and then Tyra makes a huge deal about it (even though she had to have known about it ahead of time). She's starting to get a little too dramatic for me ...

I was thinking the same thing whittle. The producers knew (I got the impression that they've known for a while and this has been a long battle), so why were Jay Manuel and Tyra so upset?

I do think it was unfair that she got to stay when she clearly should have take care of this issue earlier. However, she is definitely the better model. I couldn't stand Stacy-Ann after this episode. She exemplied something this show has yet to fix---the fact that their models think they know better. Every single season a girl is given constructive criticism and she always seems to think she knows better. Jade, anyone? When are these girls going to learn that if an industry person gives them advice, then they should take it!?!
Whitney also got on my nerves. Anya did a really good job at the party and Whitney was just jealous. She's another contestant that needs to learn how to listen.

First Fatima should have had the issue taken care of before she was even chosen for the show! She knew they were going to be traveling outside of the country. 2nd I loved StaceyAnn she was such a sweetheart! I don't know why Nigel kept saying that she was fake!

Nope....I could see if she was sick but not taking care of business that should have been handled before she even got on the show should have been queue to give her the walking papers. My question is why do the producers of the show even let girls without passports/travel papers into the house knowing they will be traveling abroad?

Fatima should have gone home because now it doesn't matter why you miss tee photoshoot--everyone gets to stay. But in all honesty Stacey Ann should have gone a long time ago. But I'm really waiting for Dominique to go! She is definitely a hot tranny mess.

Not fair! She should have taken care of this asap....how did she know how long before they went overseas? Also, I thought it was awfully presumptuous of her to think she was going to make it that far to begin with....ugh cannot stand her!

i think its FAIR that FATIMA got to stay after all she is the best model on there plus she had to take care of very important business it wasnt like she took the day off to go shopping!

Jay and Tyra were just ACTING, the show is not 100% real, its like all these so called reality tv shows on tv these days, they all ACTING!!

i think if it had been a different, weaker model, they would have used it as a reason to kick her off. the drama on this show is so annoying, and they obviously cut it to bring it out. i ff'wd through almost all of it except the photoshoots and challenges.

As with all ANTM issues, the real question is: "How would this play out in the real modeling world?"

Had Fatima arrived at a real professional shoot, then excused herself and ducked out, as she did on the show, the client would have wasted thousands of dollars to have a photographer and crew standing around while they contacted the agency to send another girl. She would have lost not only this job, but probably many future opportunities as her reputation would have been blemished.

Knowing that every Top Model cycle involves international travel, there's no excuse for Fatima failing to address her green card issue before the 11th hour. Girls who have missed shoots for all sorts of reasons, including serious illness, have been sent home the next day. Fatima missed this one out of sheer irresponsibility and was allowed a pass. Fair, no -- but then again, as the judges often remind us, this is an unfair business.

yeah she should've stayed b/c stacy ann wasn't a good model. and it's not that nigel thinks she is fake, he feels that she APPEARS fake and she does. maybe it's b/c i've never liked that type of girl (her voice is too cutesy/annoying) but she can come off as looking fake

I find it incredibly irresponsible of Fatima to not have at least gotten the ball rolling on getting her travel visa taken care of prior to coming on the show. I understand that getting a visa to travel as a refugee is a long, difficult process, but Fatima should have taken responsibility for herself and at least begun the application process before she entered the Top Model house -- a show on which it is entirely evident that a trip abroad will occur. I mean, after all, the show has been on for 10 seasons. She knew how this was going to go down.

I just can't believe people could be that irresponsible.

She should have been the one to go but Stacy Ann was not much better. So, unless Fatima ups the ante, she'll be next to go.

It seemed like they just hyped it up like that for t.v. Ya'll know Tyra knew that girl didn't have her papers and they probably set it up like that so that to make the episode very exciting.

How can so many of you guys be so sure that Fatima hasn't been handling the green card issue all along? For all you know, she could have been having issues all through production and even before she auditioned. What you see on screen isn't always everything.

i havent been watching so i didnt vote but if she misses a photoshoot because the show didnt set something up right? or fix a passport issue which is what im getting from the comments.. thats not her fault. now if it was just her saying.. oh i dont have a passport. then she should have gone

My roommate in college was a refugee and going to Rome was a HUGE pain for her. It took months for her to get her student visa. Also you have to know where your going to get a Visa. So she had to apply for a Visa to Italy she could have never done this before she got to the show because she didn't know she was going to Italy. Of course the producers knew this was a problem. They just used the story for drama. It would have been a huge process for a refugee to get a Visa and that wasn't her fault at all. Really dumb and unrealistic story.

Don't know about fair, but this girl is one of my favorites in the show so I'm glad she stayed. Overall I think this season has some really pretty girls who actually look modelesque. A refreshing change. Till now, the show kept following its formula of putting average-looking girls in the show to make the average viewer feel good about herself and think hey, if she can be a model, I could be one too. Not to sound mean, but that's what makes this show such a success. Where are any of the winners after the show finishes? Can you really see them on the cover of Vogue? In fact, some girls that were eliminated did better in real life modelling than the winners did. The winners are always the likeable, average girl-next-doors because that's a more palatable outcome for viewers.

i knew this was obviously set up for the maximum amount of drama -- yes, the consulate appointment that the producers set up just "happened" to be at the exact same time as the photoshoot! whoops, just as you arrive, there's a judging! so obviously orchestrated to skewer this girl for the sake of drama.
