Er Stella, not so sure about this one. Stella McCartney's Fall collection was disconnected. I don't know how it went from a perfect fuchsia sexy little ruffled dress to a colossal fluffy faux fur coat. Maybe she was playing with contrasts but the models looked a lot happier in the sexy, tailored looks. Although, there were a few standouts (phew!).
Stella always manages to deliver sexy v-neck boyfriend sweaters but I wasn't so keen on what was going on with the bottom half of these looks. Were those skirts or just flippy bits of fabric? One last dis: the tuxedo styles were fun and sharp but I feel like I've seen them before...But in the end, it was refreshing to see bare legs and the few expertly crafted chili pepper pieces were fabulous. This over sized poncho was the one piece that communicated the overtly boxy silhouette but still managed to deliver strong appeal. Better luck next season Stella.

Very few of those pieces looked...decent.

1I don't know what look Stella is going for this season, but it's not "sexy". Some of those pieces are HUGE. You'd have turn sideways to get through doorways.
2I think that pink dress is kinda cute
3i actually like the picture of the coat you posted up... i like the volume on that one, even though the model looks like she's toppling over. on some of the other looks though... a little wacky. and what was going on with that one-piece-huge-wool-knit-jumpsuit?
4The coats (except maybe the one fab posted with the story) are hideous! What is up with that first one?! And the jumpsuits...someone please tell me why designers are trying to bring them back...
5None of these seem to portray what Stella McCartney has put out in the past! I don't get it. Many designers are moving towards the big and baggy like in the late 80's to early 90's. It wasn't to gracious then so what would make it now?
6Call me crazy, but i love these looks! I agree though, she should have turned it down a notch on the "hugeness" of her jackets/sweaters(the pantsuit one with the bears looks like an oversized jammie.) But, sometimes fashion draws out inspiration, these pieces are definitely inspiring to me. I LOVE the minis and the bright hued heels.
7To me they look like forties/fifties, the jackets, cuts of the dresses(although she hiked up the hemline) but I'd have to agree with you that the pantsuits look very eighties.
