This Forever 21 Recycle Necklace ($9), is rather cute and Earth Day conscious. It's a perfect way to look fashionably aware and lets everyone know you're down with Mother Earth. Do you think it's cool to sport the recycling symbol or is it kinda ugly?

It's great to make a statement, but F21 (like many other companies, I'll admit) are just cashing in on the green trend, and I have a hard time respecting that. Maybe if their clothing was made from organic cotton and/or they demonstrated other green practices that weren't totally self-serving, I could get into it.
i think it's probably going to end up as landfill which completely opposes their "green message".
I think it's kinda cute...
I really love it, a lot. But only with very tactful outfits.
That is adorable.
I'm not big on the green trend, since it's mostly pretty hypocritical, but if I were going to do it, this would be how. Simple necklaces are always a good basic.
I like it.
i think its ridiculous to use the symbol as a self-proclaiming tag of eco-consciousness when the very act of buying new things goes against everything it stands for.
People should just consume less stuff to save the earth. Buying necklaces that are just ok because they have some environmental message is kind of silly
I think it's cute, but is it made of recycled or reclaimed metal? Does money from the sale go to a green charity? I'm guessing not. I would only buy it if it somehow helped with the issue. Or does having people wear the symbol get the message even more out there? Hmmm...
I totally agree with the comment above. It's funny how the only way so many of us Americans (after destroying the world for so long) can buy into going green only after it becomes trendy.
No thanks.
I love it.
I think it is tacky. You want to wear the same symbol that is on the rubbish bin?
I love this!
Not something I would wear personally, but it's 9 bucks, so I voted love it. It's cute on the right person in the right outfit.
so cute!
cute
I like it, it's cute. It doesn't really help with conservation but it looks cute. It's just a necklace. It isn't really going to do much to help with green-living and it's unreasonable to expect that, but it's a nice necklace nonetheless...
Not my style.
Pass.
Its cute for what it is. It shouldn't be a main stay jewelry piece, but its nice with a simple white tee and jeans- why not?!
it is counter intuitive. how much energy went into mass producing those necklaces?? just another way for forever 21 to ride the gravy train of the new "it" word "GREEN"
Its hard to tell that its even a recycle symbol. At first glance it looks like just a cute design! Love it!
TACKY
I like that it encourages recycling, but I probably wouldn't wear it. It's kind of cheesy.
