I seriously cannot stand the leggings thing - what's wrong with pants?
1If there is a god, I WILL be avoiding this trend. I wore a lifetime of leggings in the 80s, and DO NOT wish to take a trip back down memory lane. This is almost as bad as when legwarmers made a pathetic comeback a few years ago. What's next? Everyone starts wearing stirrup leggings again? yuck.

6Baby Lisa...I have seen stirrups for sale!!! They are back, but not as popular as reg. leggings. They're even trying to bring back body suits and overall dresses. It's gross.
7Umm, if I'm not mistaken, don't all leggings make you look slimmer? Merryunbirthday - I remember stirrup pants! Heaven help us if they come back in style. They were so ugly! LOL I had them in TONS of colors!

9I've seen some young women in leggings who look great. The best-looking girls wear them with a mini jean skirt, ballet pumps, a top and a mini-vest. But the majority of the public gets it wrong wrong wrong.

12i cant wear things this high...it drives me crazy. i'd love to be able to smooth out my tummy a little (thank goodness i don't need it a lot) but my waist is high and really tiny compared to my ribs and hips and having the waist band fall right on it makes it just look absolutely ridiculous.

As for the spanx, I heard this brand is what all the hollywood girls use under their oscar dresses to look way slimmer. Spanx makes gurdles and a whole bunck of stuff to take pounds of off people.
21Sadly here in NY the UGLY trend started. The look doesnt even make sense to me, if you want to wear a dress then wear a dress if you want to wear pants wear pants. Its 90 degrees and its August why are you wearing layers? No need to wear both unless you are wearing long johns and are going skiing!

25Yeah, i'm not crazy about this trend at all. The only time I wear leggings (long johns..lol) is under my pants in the freezing cold NYC winter!
