Could it be true?! Move over Sasha, Fab favorite Linda Evangelista has been deemed the new face of Prada's Fall ad campaign. Is anyone else loving the return of the '90s supermodels as much as I am? First Christy for Escada, then Claudia for Chanel, and now Linda for Prada. I didn't really love Prada's Fall collection but Linda might be the only person to convince me otherwise. Now Guns n' Roses just needs to reunite and I'll be walking on air.

1I think that in fashion we don't have those household named supermodels we had in the 90s because most of the models now look all the same or are very boring looking. I'm not all up to date with fashion but the only current models I know of are either victoria secret models or are unique looking like jessica stam or lily cole. So I think fashion houses are bringing back 40 year old models because normal people can actually recognize them. Plus now with photoshopping these models can look like they are in their 20s.

I agree completely. There have been a couple who have been interesting-looking, but none of them have anywhere near the charisma of a Linda Evangelista. And I'm spoiled by the 90s high fashion; I just can't really think of Gisele and her ilk as "supermodels." They are, just not in the way that I consider a high fashion supermodel.
3And if you're lucky you might also get a free Dr. pepper. I'm just saying.

6It's good to see fashion models actually "modeling" again - I was growing a tad tired of seeing celebs taking over (e.g. mag covers, fashion house campaigns, etc).

It annoys me right to the back of my teeth that any models these days gets the "supermodel" tag. Weren't there only like 7 supermodels? Linda, Christy, Claudia, Elle, Kate, Naomi and Paullina? If you're a supermodel, you don't need a surname!!!
