As the sun continues to shine stronger and stronger (global warming, hello) we must think about ways to protect our skin. While sunblock and hats are great, why not shake things up a bit with a pretty parasol? At the Spring shows, an Anna Sui model swirled a turquoise and black parasol that matched the models' outfit. Tracy Reese did the same with her oversized and lighthearted parasols. While you don't have to go the same matchy matchy route, consider investing in one parasol that will generally go with all the contents of your closet.

Definitely cute, but would I actually carry one? Probably not.
1I wouldn't carry one of these.
2No thanks...
3I should get one instead of caring about whether I'll look weird with it. I love the vintage one with the wooden handle.
4Awww, I used to carry one when I was little. I wouldn't now, it would feel weird.
5Carried one regularly when I lived in SoCal. Evil sun there.
Only problem was finding something pretty, durable, and with a reasonable spf to the fabric.
6I use to carry one about 5 or 6 years ago. I lived in Georgia for a a little while, while my boyfriend at the time was working on an album. It would get SO hot that I needed a way to shield myself from the sun a little.
7I would love to have one! Buy i don't know of the quality. Is it durable?
8Another great way to protect from the sun, but way cuter!
9I will totally carry one of these.
10id carry one for sure - good to keep the sun off
11especially at festivals where there is no shade
