I know Spring and Summer are on your mind, but switch your mindset for a second because Banana Republic's Fall '08 collection is way desirable. Despite the gloomy weather that accompanies autumn, it's making me look forward to bundling up and layering.
You'll notice this collection is mostly monochrome, with sprinkles of red to surprise the eyes. On the outerwear front, there are lots of greys, extra-long cardigans, cropped pea coats, and slick leather trenches. The trousers are mostly skinny, checkered, and menswear-ish. Fall's frocks come with lots of personality: Prada-inspired lace dress (left), red taffeta sheaths, and sleek LBDs. Tie-front styles and berets are also prevalent for Fall.

The collection looks pretty badass. I hate spring and summer. I absolutely hate any temp. above 65F. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. This is making really look forward to them even more.
1HOT! I saw quite a few things that I must have!
2I thought I was the only person that hated warm weather! I feel that there is more variety in the cooler temps with what you can wear!
3I love winter clothing and BR is one of the few stores that fit me right w/out having to do crazy amounts of alterations. So yeah for this new line but this is going to suck on my wallet.
4Also I love fog like I adore it especially because I have more clothing options. I like warm weather w/ a cool breeze but hot temps drive me insane. Large Part of the reason that I never want to move from San Francisco!!!
5I love BR...I went in the other day and wished I had an blackhole of money...
6I like a few of these pieces, but overall, it's a little blah for me.

8i dont' want to think about the fall because spring just started, but i love BR and i had to have a peek at the collection.
