A newly engaged Scarlett Johansson left her fiance Ryan Reynolds behind and walked the red carpet with the Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. I love the idea of her dress — the corset bodice and tulle skirt — but I'm not sure it works on Scarlett. Thoughts?

HATE it. her make-up is too pale too.
1She looks like a disheveled ballerina. Not a good look.
2the hair is way too messy but overall i like it
3it's kind of cute but it looks like she forgot the rest of her dress, as if this part of the dress is meant to be worn under something that is sheer or something.
4I'm not sure about this, I like my glam, classic, bold lip Scarlett... Undecided
5The dress is ok. Not sure the skirt works well with her natural curves. I think the real problem is the color though.
6I think it's great. I almost always love this type of look.
7The dress feels like they designed it for SJP and then decided they'd just let Scarlett wear it. I'm with ohkate, it seems a little raw on the edges and meant to be under something.
8i dont like her
9i hate it
10all of it
from the messy hair, the poorly done makeup and ugly dress
she could've done wayy better
i hate it

If she had done more polished hair and better makeup it would have been heavenly...
12If the dress was a different color and the top looked a little less like a corset, it would be fine.
But the hair is great-- I wish I could pull off a messy look like that.
13EW!
14She's lovely, but the color washes her out and it looks too under-garment-like for me.
15I love the idea of the dress however I don't think it was brought to life well; I think it should be floor-length.
16It's okay...
17Eh, not really appropriate for the event but I give her a pass because she's probably just so giddy to be getting married. Maybe if this was a princess theme...
18It's a classier, sexier, prettier version of Courtney Love in the "Violet" video circa 1995 and I love it!
19Looks like it belongs under her dress. The unfinished edges make it look really cheap.
20She looks like a half dressed milkmaid who has just had a rigorous roll in the hay. hehe. Somehow she manages to pull it off though.
21Wonder what made her (rather D&G) think that bodyshaper & longish tutu combo makes for a red-carpet-ready 'couture'? And why is her pretty face so overly done that it doesn't match her neck?
22Guess there ARE some things money can't buy..
ohhhh i love this look!
23I like the dress, but I feel like I've seen it before - it's just not fresh, and, of course, we all hate the hair and makeup...
24first of all she looks more damsel in distress than superhero, second of all i hate the dresses that are hitting at the ankles, third im still kinda undecided
25Love it!
26such a pretty girl but she looks like a goof here. so many things wrong I can't even start...
27I like the dress but it's not for her.
28I kinda like it but theres something about it. It's not really form fitting. I think the bottom half is to blah.
29Well I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this dress and have been totally in love with this look ever since I saw it. She looks so pretty.
