My heart goes out to Mischa who's been getting a lot of unneccesary flack for her body [1] lately. But my heart does not go out to girls when they wear unflattering clothes that draw attention to their so-called problem areas.

The Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony [2] floral corset top Mischa wore to the Event to Prevent benefit [3] is lovely, but the wrinkled khaki mom pants? Not so much. The combination of high waist and tapered bottom does not work here. Instead, she should have worn a pair of high-waist dark jeans that are more slimming. Or, a black pencil skirt to keep with the alternative vibe. I do like her messenger bag, metallic heels, and layered jewelry, though.
