The clutch has been reborn (wahoo!). While I've preferred these little vintage-inspired handbags for years, they are the perfect bag for a dinner date, this Spring's offerings of handbags will be a battle of opposites. You'll have your dainty clutches and your biggie hold all shoulder bags. For when you're going to the fro yo place around the corner and just need a twenty, lip gloss and your Blackberry, a day clutch is the perfect accessory. Need I remind, this was Carrie Bradshaw's bag of choice? Here are a few irresistible ones to get you psyched for warm weather.

agreed advicesisterA. cute but completely impractical. i bought the speedy 30 (LV) instead of the 25, just for the extra room to fit all my crap for work/life. a clutch isn't going to cut it.
Yea, as much as I ADORE clutches... I can barely fit everything in there when I go out at night! (Most of the time, I get stuck carrying my husband's goods too.) I love it, but it's just not practical...
wow, i really like all of them but can only afford the Ann Taylor one. very cute selections! (and i think i might be tempted to buy the straw clutch)
I love big bags and probably won't give them up anytime soon for practicality purposes, but I do love these little clutches. The second one above is a little too evening for me to carry around in the daytime, but I love the other two.
I will sometimes carry my small clutch inside my big bag, so that if I'm going out to lunch and only need a couple of things, I can just take it.
I'm completely enamored with the top bag. It's totally fabulous!
i dont really like clutches...im more of a hobo girl but that last one is kinda cute!
wow thats a good idea bhilb. I am going to start doing that, cause I carry this huge bag to work with all my workout clothes and gym equipment and such and always want a smaller one for when im running my errands and such.
Those clutches are so cute! I do love the big bags... but I agree with bhilb, when I need just a couple things (license, debit card and cell phone) - it's easier to just carry a clutch!
i love clutches, i just wish i could use them more often!
It's so ironic that you mentioned Carrie Bradshaw because I watching an ep of SATC last night where she carried a large clutch and I was totally thinking how ahead of her time she was in her handbag choice.
i love the j.crew one! i bought a minicci wristlet (payless brand) for $10 and its adorable! has a divider inside, li'l zip pocket, 6 card slots and a front pocket with a magnetic buckle! so roomy yet so cheap! it also doubles as a clutch =)
I can remember (and still have) clutches from back in the '80's, and I love the Ann Taylor loft one, gotta go shopping tomorrow and get one. I use the one's I still have for like shopping trips where I don't want to carry a full size bag, gets too heavy, for heavy duty shopping.
They are all adorable!
I could not find the Ann Taylor loft bag at the store. I found another one, but it was not as cute...I was very disappointed. I wonder if different stores carry different styles?
