Lanvin is proving to be this year's Cannes Film Festival choice designer, but I have a feeling no one will go as dramatic as veteran model Linda Evangelista did in this gold sequin one shoulder gown. You know I love Linda and can't wait to see her in the Fall Prada ad campaign, but is this stunner too Diana Ross flashy? (No offense, Diana!)

6Linda pulled off this sequined Lanvin goddess gown very well. But did you see her on Saturday night at that AIDS charity event Life Ball in Vienna? She was much more low key in a black gown (Prada?) but no less elegant. Awesome.
7It's a nice fabric and color, maybe a tad more form fitting to her body would have been better.
